The Viansa Winery wedding venue feels as though it exists in its own little world. This winery was first opened in 1990 by Sam and Vicki Sebastiani, a couple who are more than obsessed with creating unforgettable wines. From the beginning, they created this as a spot where people could gather, share a bottle, and make lifelong memories. They bring this same love for hospitality to their events, offering a once-in-a-lifetime celebration you will hold close for the rest of your life.
Details of the Grounds
With Viansa Winery, your wedding day will start on-site at the estate, where you will have a bridal suite and a groom’s room to put on all the finishing touches.
For your ceremony, you can exchange your vows in the courtyard where a nearby fountain offers the right ambiance. The estate is completely private with rows of hedges carefully planted around the courtyard. Meanwhile, the Sonoma hills will serve as a picture-perfect backdrop throughout your entire service.
Once it’s time for your cocktail hour, your guests can head back near the fountain, where they will enjoy appetizers and decadent wine from the winery.
Next comes the reception! For this portion, you will have several options. If you would prefer an indoor dinner, you can pick between the candle-lit wine cellar or the Barrel Room. Outside, you will have the Pavilion, where you can dance and dine surrounded by panoramic views of the Valley of the Moon. No matter what you choose, you will have a romantic setting for the celebration of your dreams! Viansa is able to host up to 300 guests.
Photography Opportunities
I have gotten to work at the Viansa Winery wedding venue, and I can tell you, it is a dream! The exterior of the estate buildings is covered in vines, giving you a lush, Tuscan-inspired space perfect for your first look portraits. You can climb up and take portraits on the windowsill or spend some time together in front of the fountain. The venue has several gates and outdoor steps you can use for stylized couple’s portraits. And once you’re done snapping pics around the estate, you can head to the lookout, where you can get portraits with miles of the Sonoma countryside at your feet.
Wedding Details
Viansa Winery is going to make sure you have everything you could possibly need for your wedding. Before your day arrives, you will work with an approved vendor to create the perfect menu. The group will take care of the tables and chairs, and they will provide you with alcohol, including their specialty wines. You will have an event coordinator through the winery who will keep your party going!
