Hopefully, it feels a lot less like being photographed than you expect. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I’m not going to put you through a list of poses or make you perform for the camera. Most of the time, I’m watching, noticing, and giving you space to actually be together. You don’t need to know what to do. You just need to show up as yourselves. I’ll take care of the rest.
Absolutely. I’ll help you think through the flow of the day, where photography fits naturally, and how much time we actually need without making your wedding feel like one big schedule. I’ll also help you build in the things that matter to you, whether that means a little extra time with your people, a moment together, or room for the unexpected.
Not at all. Honestly, most people aren’t. You don’t need to know how to pose or suddenly become someone who loves having their picture taken. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I’m much more interested in helping you settle into each other than making you perform for the camera. My job is to make you feel comfortable enough to forget about the camera and enjoy what’s happening.

I photograph weddings of all kinds across Tennessee and beyond. I photograph in an experience centered way, using digital, 35mm and 120 film, and Super 8 and drone. I also photograph couples, engagements, and intimate celebrations.
