ToggleFirst, let’s talk dates. Nashville is a vibrant town that attracts tourists all year long. Typically, you’ll see the biggest crowds on weekends in the downtown (I’m looking at you, Broadway!). If you want to try to avoid all the tourists, weekdays tend to be ideal. If you are choosing an outdoor wedding, you’ll also want to think about the weather. Summers tend to be blazing hot, while the winters can get pretty darn chilly. With a fall wedding, you can get a bit of a break from both the heat and the crowds. Truly, though, there’s no bad season for a Nashville wedding!

We have so many amazing locations, from the kitschy bars to the nature-filled parks. Here are a few of my faves.

Before your wedding, you will need to get a marriage license from the Davidson County Clerk’s office. Both parties will need to be present, and you will need to fill out the application before your visit. Also, be sure to bring a valid ID as well as proof of your security number. You can get married up to 30 days after receiving your license.
Because elopements are so customizable, you can make it as affordable as you’d like! Most couples spend between $4,000-$18,000. Here’s what you need to consider when budgeting.

One of the biggest things to keep in mind when budgeting is your photographer. I promise, this isn’t my bias speaking! This elopement is an adventure you’ll want to remember for years to come. It is so deeply special and personal, and you need to document every single second. If you are looking for a seasoned Tennessee elopement photographer ready to be there for your journey, I would love to talk! I am deeply passionate about capturing all those subtle, quiet moments that you’ll want to look back on for years to come. If genuine, timeless moments sound good to you, I think we might just be a match!
