To walk through the doors of The Hermitage Hotel wedding venue is to see Nashville at every point throughout its fascinating history. The hotel first opened its doors in 1912 and wasted no time becoming a favorite. Over its history, it would host stars like Spencer Tracy, Vivien Leigh, and even Charlie Chaplin. Activists used it as a battlefront with both anti-suffragists and suffragists staying on the grounds. When Prohibition sank in, the antis set up a speakeasy on the eighth floor in hopes of swaying legislators. Today, the hotel has its history on full display from the artifacts near the dining room to the large whiskey collection at its bar. No matter why you’re here, though, you are going to love your stay!

The Hermitage Hotel is going to be an exquisite backdrop for every moment of your wedding celebration. I highly recommend booking a suite throughout your wedding weekend so you have a comfortable space where you can get ready ahead of the ceremony.
The Veranda tends to be a favorite spot for ceremonies. This room draws inspiration from the French Renaissance with its white stone arched ceilings and its French windows. You will enjoy views of 6th Avenue as you exchange vows.
For your reception, you can choose between The Grand Lobby and The Pink Hermit. The first option features Italian marble illuminated by the light creeping through the painted glass skylight. Meanwhile, The Pink Hermit has been restored from its seedy history as a speakeasy. Today, it is bright and colorful with blush and blue tile as well as a blue marble bar.
The Grand Ballroom is the ideal spot for your reception. With polished wooden paneling, chandeliers, and art deco ceilings, this space is ready for hours of celebration! This venue is able to host up to 300 guests.

The Hermitage Hotel features a wealth of backdrops ideal for your wedding photos! Beyond your candid portraits in your room, the Grand Lobby and the Pink Hermit will give you a chic spot for your couple’s portraits. You can also head outside and take some pics while walking through downtown Nashville.

The Hermitage Hotel is going to go out of its way to give you the perfect wedding day. Their event coordinator will work alongside your planner to orchestrate your celebration. Their team will handle drinks and catering, plus they can take care of desserts. Your guests will have access to parking as well as valet services to make things a little simpler!
