I went to high school with Megan, and she has been following my photography journey from the start, which literally means the WORLD to me! When she got engaged and reached out, both she and Matt had a strong desire for their day to be extremely relaxed, stress-free, and just spent enjoying each other, being in love, and being surrounded by their closest people. And I had the pleasure of capturing their fun and intimate elopement, come see more of it below!

Finding the Perfect Spot for their Intimate Elopement

Megan and Matt met me in Colorado, and using my handy dandy Google Earth, I found the stunning spot of Pass Lake! The entire elopement was super fun. The night before, they stayed in separate Airbnbs, where they exchanged gifts with their sides of the families, enjoyed drinks, and just spent time laughing and loving.

The Emotional First Look at Their Intimate Elopement

Before heading off to Pass Lake, Matt met Megan at her place. It was super emotional and real. It wasn’t a scripted first look or anything! Just him walking inside and seeing her in the living room. It was a really, really beautiful moment. We hopped in the car and headed to Pass Lake. Their excitement grew as the elevation gained, and they realized how beautiful the view would actually be.

A Ceremony and Celebration to Remember

The ceremony was stunning, and their vows were touching, pulling their favorite song lyrics intertwined within them. After the ceremony, their families all hugged, we snapped some family photos and then spent a few hours frolicking around the openings surrounding the lake. It was a day full of joy and emotion! Afterward, we went to Hearthstone Restaurant in Breckenridge for an incredible dinner. It was the perfect way to end a perfect day, surrounded by love and happiness.
