Since moving to Nashville, Riverwood Mansion has been a venue I’ve had my eye on. With its blend of Southern charm and timeless elegance, it’s the kind of place that that exudes luxury with ease. So when the opportunity came up to collaborate with some of Nashville’s top wedding vendors for a styled shoot at Riverwood Mansion, I knew it was meant to be.
Florals
For this wedding at Riverwood Mansion, I really wanted to showcase the venue in all its glory, while highlighting the beauty in every small detail. The florals by Arranged Nashville were absolutely stunning. They added a lush, romantic feel to the space, and every arrangement was thoughtfully placed to complement the venue’s rich history. From soft white lilies to deep greenery, the florals were both elegant and effortless, perfectly in tune with the mansion’s charm.
The styling, led by myself and Riverwood, was the perfect mix of sophistication and warmth. The color palette, featuring a beautiful shade of green, was a standout. Green can be a tricky color to pull off, but this shade was the perfect balance—luxurious, fresh, and full of life. It had such a timeless elegance to it, and the Riverwood team helped execute the vision flawlessly.
Grand Central Party Rentals
Grand Central Party Rentals offers a stunning selection of decor, tables, chairs, tents, furniture, tableware, and linens to match every style. They truly understood my vision and brought it to life perfectly. The entire process was effortless and seamless, and I would absolutely recommend them to all my couples in Nashville.
Cake
Then there was the cake. Madison, from Mads Eatz, created a masterpiece. The design was simple, yet incredibly striking—especially with the florals as the focal point. It was the perfect combination of understated elegance and show-stopping beauty. Honestly, it might be one of my favorite cakes I’ve photographed. And it tasted incredible, too.
Calligraphy & Details
As a photographer, details are one of my favorite things to capture. I love arranging and seeing how everything comes together. The custom stationery by White Ink Calligraphy, was absolutely gorgeous. The delicate textures and elegant typography added the perfect finishing touch to the flat lay, and I had so much fun arranging the pieces just so.
Riverwood Mansion
What truly made the wedding magical, though, was the natural light at Riverwood Mansion. The space is flooded with gorgeous light, perfect for portraits. Kins and Ryan were the perfect couple. Not only were they absolutely stunning, but they brought such a natural, effortless energy to the day. Kins’ dress from Adorn Nashville was the perfect balance of modern and timeless—unique and bold, yet flattering and elegant. It was the kind of dress that made a statement without stealing the show. And Ryan was the ideal complement—dapper and handsome, with an easygoing style that paired so well with Kins.
The Couple: Kins & Ryan
For their portraits, we wanted to go for a luxury editorial vibe, and these two totally brought it to life. They moved so effortlessly in front of the camera, and the result was the kind of romantic, editorial images I absolutely love capturing.
Collaboration
This wedding at the Riverwood Mansion was such a success. The collaboration with all of these talented vendors was nothing short of magical. It was a day filled with creativity, inspiration, and so much fun. I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to work in a space as beautiful as Riverwood Mansion, and I can’t wait to return for another wedding.
